Title: Best way to color my calipers

Hey guys/gals, this is my first post and was hoping to get advice on an often discussed topic. Powder coat or paint my calipers? NO red, black or silver i'm guessing. Idk. Help me out fellow audi ownerz.....

Looks nice. You can go either way. I just painted mine and has actually help up fine for almost 4 yrs now. So really up to you. Id go with black on your ride. With white decal rings.

U read my mind man. So what type of paint did u go with? G2, duplicolor?

I used duplicolor. Primed, painted. clearcoat. You can see some very very old pics here.

Aw man, looks better than i thot it would! How many coats? I keep hearing some "use the whole can" type numbers...6,8, even 10 coats! R they for real?!

I think i used 1 x primer 3x paint 1x clear.

Thats more like it. Thanks for the info bro. Hopefully will have some pics soon...
