That's why I said the copper plugs can also be used.

You NEED to NEED to put double platinum in these!! You CANNOT put anything else in. Perhaps the plugs that were mentioned in the performance section of this site, but NOTHING ELSE!! .032 gap. It simply will not fire right.
The ones I use are NGK part number PFR6Q. These are double platinum and run absolutely fine torqued to about 22 ft. lbs. The engine runs very smooth and I get a satisfying amount of performance out of it.
Have you disconnected the battery?

Hi, my name is Chris and I'm just introducing myself. I have a 2003 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8T that is tan and has about 88,500 miles on it. I love this car and I know it has a lot of potential to be fast, but more important than anything else....hold its longevity for many years, which seems to be an impossible feat for a car made from 95 and above.
