So here is the deal.  I just picked up my dream car.  04' Audi quattro 1.8t, and yes it has the very sexy six speed tranny.  A couple of days ago my baby started to over boost past 25 P.S.I. (I have the AWE vent gauge).  Maybe 28 P.S.I?  This was followed by multiple misfires and the engine light to come on. (FYI this doesn't happen all the time.  Most of the time it's around 16 or 20). I started to fart around under the hood and noticed the the N75 valve had been zip tied off.  It is still plugged in to the electrical side, but not into the actual hose.  Who ever owned the car before replaced the hoses and there doesn't seem to be a port to plug the valve into.  Is this some sort of cheapo mod to get around a flash?  There also seems to be a good amount of work put into this car.  Atleast a flash (or back yard mech work), and the turbo doesn't seem to hit full boost until 2,800-3,000 RPM.  K04?  Thank you for your imput!

Post some pics.
Also couple pieces of info i found for yah.
With no current to N75, the W connection is closed. You won't be able to blow through it. If the N75 is faulty though, it will bleed pressure via the W nipple even if not asked to do that. Result -- overboost.
Also the line to the Westgate not tightend enough. If someone replaced turbo check that out first.
