dv noise question??

my diverter valve is making this noise and it only happens when the weather is slighty cold. when my boost peaks and i let off the gas it sounds like a whistle or "chink" noise. is this normal or do i need to replace my dv. also i like the noise of a bov but i want the performance of a dv. if i get a new intake will it increase the noise of my dv?

if you get an open element or "cone" filter, you will have the whoosh sound. if you are chipped, you may even get the whoosh sound w/  u'r factory air intake. or if you really wanna go big, find a hybrid or whatever they call them valve.. where u can have 50% recirc and 50% bov. i personally run full bov without an issue, however, everyone is dif with there preferences and all bov's are diff. some will work, some will not.

i thought i had a stock dv, but turned out to be a bailey motorsport one... i went full bov tho
