If you are trying to upgrade to 1+ basically all you need is TT2225 injectors.  Its recommended to have an exhaust they claim. But some people run without it.

yeah, apr recommends the bosch 225 injectors... they are prob the best bet.. the second choice is siemens injectors which you can get from ecstuning.com for 250 bux, but they are not going to be as good as the bosch ones. the bosch ones are oem injectors from the 225 hp audi tt so they are engineered to last..

Good if thats all i need that makes it easy. I will have to think about the offer sinistera. I would rather have the bosch I don't want to cheap out on a mod like this it could do some damage if anything went wrong. Thanks for the advice.

technically, you can go to u'r chip dealer bone stock and have them do the 1+ program and still have the gains that are advertised on the website. the exhaust/intake/testpipe that they recommend are just complimentary to the chip tune. where they are very good things to get with u'r chip upgrade, they are not 100% necessary. the injectors are necessary tho, dont forget about that. but trust me, in the end when u get u'r ecu programmed, it's def worth getting the exhaust to go with it.

i'm in that stage right now... friday i'm upgrading to 1+ and have been thinking about it for a month now. need to think about the injectors first. i personally am in a smaller budget and i'm very impatient so rather than save the money for the 225tt injectors, i got the siemens 380cc injectors. and since i dont have a front mount intercooler, and i want to prevent heatsoak as much as possible, i did the 225tt vent mod. i already have a test pipe and catback so that's about all i need for the 1+. my dv has been upgraded to something that wont be hurt under higher boost and the only other thing that needs to be addressed is my clutch which is the original clutch and has 95k on it. other than that, i believe i have everything covered...

Actually the 225 injectors flow a little more but the siemens are more cost effective. The tt injectors are the safest bet when talking fitment issues they are an OEM part. The performance is comparable, and if your running a GIAC program the siemens are what they recommend.
I have a friend that works at napa and says he could order the bosh injectors for cheap anybody have the part number i could use to do this.

the tt225 injectors arent what u are thinking. they are the factory injectors in the 225hp version of the 1.8t audi tt.. they flow 386cc. think of it like this. the tt225 injectors have the bosch name. they are the oem injectors that audi uses on the 225hp audi tt. audi uses them in the higher hp version of the 1.8t so wouldnt you want to use oem injectors in u'r 1.8t to reach those hp numbers?? the price difference is the same price difference if you were to buy brake pads from the dealer and compare them w/ the price from autozone. the dealer ones will be more expensive but they were designed for the car. the autozone ones are cheaper, and they may work just fine, or u may get a little brake dust, or they could fail, you never know. i'm confident enough to use the siemens injectors however other people may not want to take that gamble and stick with oem. it's completely up to the buyer: how deep are your pockets?

Maybe, if your doing a GIAC 1+ I have no idea.  If your doing an Apr 1+ there are 2 bosch options.

1. 225 tt injectors (BEA) engine code  : 0 280 156 063
They are light grey

2. 225 injectors (AMU) engine code  :  0 280 155 892
They are light blue

Different spray pattern is the only difference

Apr will sell you the blue ones.  They will never tell you the part number because they want your $500.  I ran the blue ones because I live in Illinois and it gets cold.  It ran smoother when I first start it in winter with the blue ones.  If you live somewhere that doesn't get real cold the grey ones work just fine.  Even if it is cold once the car warms up it will smooth out.   I actually have a set of grey ones for $175 + shipping if your interested.  Link:

I only ran them for 3 days.  My turbo blew so I got a K004 and got bigger injectors.  I will say though, I tried to go cheap the first time around and bought the Genesis 380cc injectors.  f**king junk!  Keep in mind these part numbers are audi numbers.  Volkswagen numbers will be different even though they are the same injectors.  Hope this helps!
