$3k! thats nuts. And i dont think thats your issue. Might be just the MAF. But 1st you need to get those codes checked. If you dont have Vagcom. GET IT! Also you can go to like autozone. VIP one of those places and get scanned.

That is strange. Any chance the water came in from the door sill? Take a hose and spray up under the right side and see?

Also stay away from the afe one . It leaks all over the place. Those gromets are junk.

Couple things that it could be one MAF sensor or CTS ( coolant temp sensor) 1st thing i would do is when it is running weird. Pop off the connector to the MAF see if runs the same. This only happen at FOT ? Or both hot and cold ?  Also still hissing at back of the wall, must till have a leak

Did you get this resolved? Might want to look into replacing fuel filter. Also double check make sure everything in hooked up correct. And you replaced with a new pump and not a rebuilt?

Yes a new DV. eBst bang for your buck is going to be to get it chipped. It's like night and day. Then upgrade to a K04 or best yet get the Franken turbo comes with all you need except tune and FMIC for $1500. And will get you close to the 250hp range.
Then of course DP and test pipe or high flow cat.

Yes exactly what Revo said. You will be fine. You can even get the chip so you can switch from stock to tune. Sorry is it a 3.2 or 2.0T ?

I personly went with the last pic. Left the back up clear. I think looks nicer. Just shade till the cherry is almost gone. Then when you brake, turn  its still plenty of light.

Yes it is. Just make sure you block off the PRV and also loosen you oil cap. It's air getting into the crank case. All good. Just dont want to pressurize it.
